the project
In a context where the boundaries between human creativity and machine-generated production are increasingly blurred, "ephemeral paints" offers a critical reflection on the evolving nature of art in the digital age. This project questions traditional notions of authorship, originality, and permanence, posing an essential question: what distinguishes human-made art from that created by algorithms today? The accelerated pace of digital image creation and consumption has led to a utilitarian view of art as fleeting content, designed to be quickly replaced by the next novelty. In contrast to this trend, "ephemeral paints" proposes an alternative: long-form works that emerge from mundane or algorithmically generated beginnings, gradually evolving into unique, unrepeatable compositions of transitory beauty.
